Interested parties look to find ways to change the financial market paradigm. Lastly, these key players can connect with influencers and executives in the industry to discuss the future of finance.<\/p>\n<h2>MoneyConf 2018<\/h2>\n<p>Moneyconf can be seen as sort of a spin-off from Web Summit, the worlds biggest tech conference. Not so coincidentally, both conferences are organized by tech mogul, Paddy Cosgrave, and his team. A key focal point of the conference called for attention as to how:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong class=\"markup--strong markup--p-strong\">Will the blockchain change finance forever? <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong class=\"markup--strong markup--p-strong\">What impact will it have beyond cryptocurrencies?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p id=\"c9bd\" class=\"graf graf--p graf-after--figure\">Paranoid Internet&#8217;s CEO and CFO, Dennis Weidner and Silke Sh\u00fctters were invited by Enterprise Ireland to attend the conference.<\/p>\n<h2><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6748\" src=\"https:\/\/paranoid-internet.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/Dennis-Weidner-MoneyConf.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"633\" height=\"477\" \/><\/h2>\n<h2 class=\"graf graf--p graf-after--figure\">The Schedule<\/h2>\n<p id=\"7e1d\" class=\"graf graf--p graf-after--p\">Split across three days, the conference featured a wide selection of press conferences. Alongside panel talks, insightful keynotes, workshops were viable networking sessions.\u00a0 An excellent choice of speakers in the industry! The speakers included the co-founder and CEO of Transferwise, Kristo Kaarmann, the VP of Coinbase and Adam White. Also speaking at the conference was the co-founder of Ethereum and Consensys, Joseph Lubin. His talk was understandable a packed while discussing Identity and The power of Ethereum.<\/p>\n<h2>Why we went!<\/h2>\n<p id=\"e21d\" class=\"graf graf--p graf-after--figure\">The goal for\u00a0<a class=\"markup--anchor markup--p-anchor\" href=\"https:\/\/paranoid-internet.de\/?utm_source=content&amp;utm_medium=medium&amp;utm_campaign=moneyconf&amp;utm_term=article\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" data-href=\"https:\/\/paranoid-internet.de\/?utm_source=content&amp;utm_medium=medium&amp;utm_campaign=moneyconf&amp;utm_term=article\"><strong class=\"markup--strong markup--p-strong\">Paranoid Internet\u00a0<\/strong><\/a>is to build bridges in order to make cryptocurrency and blockchain a sustainable, viable and thriving ecosystem, locally and worldwide.<\/p>\n<p id=\"40ca\" class=\"graf graf--p graf-after--p\">By attending this conference, we were able to reach over 5,000 attendees from over 60 countries. Weidner was able to meet with\u00a0Eric Larchev\u00eaque, Founder and CEO of Ledger. Ledger is a company leader in securing crypto assets.\u00a0Larchev\u00eaque where he was discussing\u00a0<strong class=\"markup--strong markup--p-strong\"><em class=\"markup--em markup--p-em\">Blockchain: Understanding a decentralised future<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0and ways of\u00a0<strong class=\"markup--strong markup--p-strong\"><em class=\"markup--em markup--p-em\">Keeping your crypto safe: Wallets and securities<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0and also announced the milestone of having sold over one million ledger wallets.<\/p>\n<h2>Money and Tech<\/h2>\n<p id=\"8d4c\" class=\"graf graf--p graf-after--p\">At a Fintech conference, evidently, money and tech are the key essentials for discussion. Touchtech, a Dublin-based company specializing in online authentication for financial institutions and key partner with companies like N26, Revolut or Transferwise, is gearing up to become the next big tech unicorn.
